WinChanger lets you
change settings in Windows 9X/NT4/2000 and Millennium that normally would
require advanced editing to the windows system registry
and other parts of Windows. As most people
know, the windows registry isn’t something worth editing
unless you know exactly what you’re doing. And even if
you are familiar with it and are used to edit it, there is
no way you can know what and where to change all the
things that you want. This is exactly what WinChanger
helps you with.

WinChanger has an easy to use point and
click interface that lets you edit all the things you
always wanted, but never known how. For example haven’t
you always wanted to get rid of that stupid shortcut arrow
on the shortcut icons? Maybe you want to rename the
recycle bin or you don’t use it at all and want to get
rid of it? This can all be done using WinChanger.

of the other features in WinChanger includes: Chaning the
drive icons, remove items
from the Add/Remove Programs list, this can be very useful
if you did not use the uninstall program when you removed
an application. Rename the start button, add a background
to the Windows and Internet Explorer toolbars. Change the
start menu icons, WinChanger can do all this for you!
You will be able to add sub-menus items
to files, remove items from the Run list, change the owner
information, edit the “Tip of the day” tips and even
save them to a registry file to share with your friends.
You can change the popup menu speed, change the location
of the default folders. edit the new documents menu. Edit
the manufacturer information and much, much more.

2000 also has more than 100 policy functions! This means
that you for example can disable the run command, disable the
control panel, disable the ms-dos prompt, hide drives in
my computer. Restrict access to only certain applications,
disable changes to the start menu and much, much more!
WinChanger 2000 even has a feature
allowing you to connect to a remote computer in a network
and remotely set its restrictions. You can also export all
your system restrictions to a policy file which later can
be imported on the same or another system. And of course
does WinChanger support password protection.

WinChanger 2000 is as you might have guessed shareware. In this case you are free to use WinChanger 2000 for up to 50 times. After this time you will have to register, or you won't be able to continue using it. And now comes the best part, the registration fee for WinChanger 2000 is only US $8!
Now you're probably wondering why we give it away for only $8, what's the catch?
No catch, we simply just think that the features included are so good that everyone should have them. But since we have to live too, and to be able to make updates we have to at least get some money out from all this.
